I think I made the worst mistake I've made in a while. I'm not sure though.

y'see, my best friend has been feeling really awful recently because of something. And then I went and made it worse. And then I made that worse by not really owning up to the first mistake. And then I made another mistake, and I made my friend think that I was basically blaiming them for something that was completly out of their control. And then I kinda just ran away from it, like a little wuss that can't be responsible for his actions.

I feel so afraid inside...its making me sick. I hurt my best friend, the person out of everyone in this world I'm closest too. I'm afraid that they will never trust me, or be as good of a friend to me, again.

So I was thinking about things to do, and I suddenly remembered the Magic Cards that Mandy made for Fitz, right? My immediate thought was "The rest of us should have cards of our own."

Uh-Oh...

The end result (so far) is this:

Apologies to bakkerkid for abusing his likeness, but he's the only other person at the table I know of who has any sort of Systems Engineering background. Plus, the type only works if it is both of us.

Allright, its about time I actually used thing for what it should be used for: A journal. I really should have been updating it more fequently than once a season or so.

Anyway, today was...interesting. I managed to play several rounds of Magic after I finished off my classes. Managed to win a couple of times, too. Orszov is really working for me, even though I havn't really gotten the deck to work. I need more copies of a couple cards to make it work well. My Selesnia deck managed to come out ahead though, I managed to alpha strike somone for 36 damage total. Overrun works. Also, my Meloku deck is functioning well.

I should probably re-assemble my Aura deck that I made over the break and try it out. Or maybe make a blue-white control deck.

Also, note to self: Why is it that all the really awesome guys at the table are all a good deal older than me? What's with that?

Other note to self: Pay attention so that you notice when Spencer starts his game. Learning a new system and possibly getting to play that character would be great.

My best friend has already started college, forcing me to face what is going to be a personal hell of my own choosing...making friends to spend the four and a half months before my old friends come back.

It is important to note that having to meet new people ranks below torture on my list of "things I want to do"

Also, I miss my friend terribly, but the thing that makes this worse is that I know she misses all of us to varying degrees...at least I still have some of my friends around. She has no one to share with yet except online...and that is the worst thing of all.

Note to self: arrange for a present for Katie, she needs it. Plus, I owe her like, 10,000 times over
